Our clients understand that their in house trainers need to be confident and competent to deliver excellent training courses. Ian has worked with a number of clients to develop the skills of their training teams. Facilitation Skills One client asked Ian to improve the facilitation skills of its trainers. Most of the trainers were highly experienced instructors but they weren’t confident in stimulating discussions and getting delegates to explore the issues themselves. We ran a session with each trainer which helped them to understand the benefits of following a more facilitative approach. The results were highly positive and the approach was immediately adopted by the majority of the trainers.
Learning Design Some clients have asked us to develop a consistent format for the production of their internal training materials and then to train their trainers on how to produce training courses using these new materials. This method has helped training teams to deliver a consistent, corporate approach.
