Some clients ask Ian to review their existing materials and give feedback on their contents. Ian has worked with video production companies to review video scripts and with retail training providers to give feedback on their materials prior to launch.

Another of our clients, working in conjunction with its partner Colleges, offers employers personalised training and development for their staff, which leads to nationally recognised qualifications. This client had produced over a hundred workbooks but wasn’t happy with the way they looked.

To have the right impact on learners, workbooks need to be stimulating and inviting. To encourage people to use these materials and to get them accepted by the widest possible audience, a professional learning design was required.

Ian took the company’s original text, amending it as appropriate and then, using his learning design skills, developed a suite of materials that were:
