DLD Solutions, now in its eighth year, is headed by Ian Woodward. 

Ian has over 24 years’ experience in Learning and Development, built on a retail business background, in both large and small companies, in front line and head office roles.

Ian is skilled at identifying and then translating strategic priorities into bespoke, tactical solutions.  He is therefore well placed to help you to get the best out of your people. 

The business has two main strands:

• Designing development programmes and training schemes, such as those for graduates, apprentices and new starters. 
   
• Writing and delivering bespoke workshops.

However, it doesn’t stop there.  Ian is regularly asked by his clients to provide consultancy support to HR, development and general project teams.  If our clients want, he’ll even redesign their training materials to give them more impact with users.  (Click here to learn more about some of our activities.) 

Ian works equally well with main board directors and with front line staff, within any type of company, organisation, trust or charity.  His motto is “Creating Clarity from Confusion” which shows how he aims to get to the heart of the matter and produce solutions that people really understand. 

Ian also works to support his local community.  He is heavily involved with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), both as a regular speaker at branch events and as member of the local CIPD committee.  He's a charity trustee, he edits a monthly parish magazine and manages two local websites.
